Peer Action Against Hate project was launched in spring 2023. The project is set up and managed by the Ministry of Justice and aims to combat racism and hate crimes through peer learning. In addition to Seta, the project partners are the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the Centre for Peace Studies (Zagreb, Croatia), and the Irish Network Against Racism (INAR). The project has received funding from the European Commission’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values program (CERV).
In 2023, Seta conducted an initial survey to better understand the needs of NGOs in dealing with hate crimes and communicating about them. Several events will be organized in 2024 to respond to these needs.
